When I started this site in I was using different file sites. The sites have not lasted long and as a result the links are dead. Now the only site I use is Mediafire, which doesn't go bad. So I selected the following to be re-upped using Mediafire for your enjoyment, and the fact that you need them in your life. Click the links to head to the original post and click on the refreshed link to download. I won't be doing this all the time. If you miss something too bad. Hit up the chat box and see if someone is nice enough to hook you up. If anyone wants to take on the task of re-upping, shoot me an e-mail.

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx....

Menace II Society Soundtrack

It didn't need to be re-upped, but I want people to check them out.

I suggest, if you haven't had the chance, to get on these. Don't sleep!

Your Welcome.

Slum Village - Fan-Tas-Tic Vol. 1

This schitt is a straight up classic. If you even consider yourself a Dilla fan, you should know about this. Shoot you should know this dude started with Slum Village. Great beats, great rhymes. I love this album.

Slum Village - Fan.Tas.Tic Vol. 1

Enjoy (And I emphasize that.)

If You're In The Pomona Area

Throwback Track/Video Of The Week

Remember this from back in the day? Love this track. 'Dre 3000's verse is great.

Dungeon Family - Trans DF Express

Lil' Wayne - Tha Carter II

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this dude. I can't stand how people think he's the best thing since sliced bread. I'm sick of seeing all the unnecessary remixes and appearances. However, I respect the dude's hustle, and I'd be lying if I said I don't feel a lot of his schitt. Regardless, this album here, is a great album. I can't argue this fact. I enjoyed this from beginning to end. He needs to come out with his next album tho, fuck the bullshit. But for right now, let this album hold you till then. It certainly will do the job.

New Weed Machine Open For Business In L.A.

No bullshitting, but weed can now be purchased from an ATM-like machine called the Anytime Vending Machine (AVM) at two public locations in Los Angeles.

AVM's are 24/7 machines housed in standalone rooms, containing two dispensaries and protected by multiple round-the-clock security guards. All you need for access is your doctors prescription, once it’s approved by the AVM, your fingerprint taken and a prepaid credit card loaded with your profile: dosage (3.5 or 7 grams, up to 1oz a week) and strain preference (choice of five, including OG Cush and Granddaddy Purple, the mildly hallucinogenic forebear to Prince). Then day or night, all you do is hit a machine and walk away with enough vacuum-sealed, plastic-encapsulated cheeba to adequately treat your illness, and a guarantee that your car will never smell like new again.

The two locations are:

Melrose Quality Pain Relief, 4906 Melrose Ave, Mid-Wilshire; 323.957.7777

Herbal Nutrition Center, 1435 S. La Cienaga Blvd. Suite G, Mid-Wilshire; 310.855.9484

Wow, I live in LA, I mos def need to check this schitt out.

I Got Those Flashing Lights

Dude remixed the best track off Graduation, and does it well.

Colin Munroe - I Want Those Flashing Lights

There's even a music video out for it.

Which version is better?

Jean Grae - Love Thirst

Jean Grae - Love Thirst (Prod. By 9th Wonder)

This is my schitt! Off the 9th Wonder/Jean Grae collabo album, Jeanius, which is coming. Check the covers:

Public Enemy is for U.S. releases, Black Sheep is for international, Rae is for digital, and Das EFX is for vinyls. Lovin' these.

Allow Me To Introduce Big Chief

I've met and kicked it with Big Chief personally through my Cuz'N, who are both part of the Bent Vinyl crew. Dude is one of the most talented guys out there. If by chance you're like "Who the fuck is this dude?", here's an introduction and what a grand one it is. Big Chief blends the acapellas from Jigga's Black Album with some supremely dope hip hop cuts. The lyrics blend in perfectly and the tracks are better than those on the Black Album. Easily the best remix to the Black Album. With the acapellas to American Gangster out, another remix album is on the way from Big Chief titled, "American Cartel" (although "American Chiefster" is better ~hint~ ~hint~). Once I cop that I'll hook you guys up. In the meantime.....

Jay-Z & Big Chief - The Crack Album

Bonus: I compiled the tracks he used for the Crack Album in the link below.

The Pipe (OG Tracks)

Check his space!

Your welcome.

Update: Here's a preview of what's to come in "American Cartel".

Jay-Z & Big Chief - Whirlwind Thru Brooklyn

Afu-Ra - Whirlwind Thru Cities

Q Tip - Open (Unreleased)

Due to issues with his label, Q Tip's Open was shelved for being too "un-commercial". Most of these tracks as well as tracks from another shelved album, Kamaal the Abstract, will make it in his new album, The Renaissance, coming out this year. Be on the lookout. But in the meantime, enjoy this.

Q Tip - Open (Unreleased)

Your Welcome.

The classic hip hop track produced by the legendary Pete Rock (who has another album on the way) samples from the group Beginning Of The End, as well as saxophonist Tom Scott.

Off of her upcoming album The Awakening. I'm on the lookout for this one.

If mixtapes were as popular then as they are now, imagine how much bigger commercially Illmatic, and Nas, would be. Imagine the sales numbers. This mixtape shows the greatness that was to come. Enjoy this right here. A must have for any Nas fan as well as any hip hop head.

Nas - Pre-Illmatic Mixtape

Throwback Video Of The Week

The best intro to a movie...EVER. Period.

Here's the track if anyone is wondering what it is.

Soul II Soul - Back To Life Acapella

Once Again It's On!

Got another compilation for you and your ma dukes. This right here is in HEAVY rotation. I've been bumpin' this the past 3 days on my walk to my 8 AM classes. You should enjoy this right here. So without further adieu...

"Hot Schhhh........."

FYI: Two tracks require a passwerd: "time4me". And if you're just barely up on the site, check the other compilation I posted.

One of my favorite artists samples from Slave, a funky ol' skool group. Hope you enjoy.

Slave - Watching You

Snoop Doggy Dogg - Let's Get Blown

Snoop Doggy Dogg - Gin & Juice

Bonus Cut:

Snoop Doggy Dogg - Gin & Juice (Laid Back RMX)

Quasimoto - The Unseen

I'm becoming a big fan of Madlib, who comes out of Oxnard. Apparently this album was made while he was on a week long shrooming binge. For all who have been on the substance such as myself, you know it's a trip and it shows on this album. Great beats and Quasimoto's (Madlib's voice sped up) voice is quite infectious. A great piece of music and an underground classic. Something different that you will enjoy.

Quasimoto - The Unseen

Sunday, January 6, 2008

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Started school this week and had to move into my spot. So this schitt was the last thing on my mind. But the show goes on. This album here is a prime example of how you shouldn't judge an album by its cover.

Hell Rell - For The Hell Of It

A Couple Vids

Kanye West's music video to Good Morning. Bomb video.

Brand new commercial for the Air Jordan xx3 which is the last Jordan to come out.

Thursday, January 3, 2008

One of the most vicious disses from one of the most vicious MC's ever sampling from a viciously funky ol' skool jam.

Brick - Dazz

Ice Cube - No Vaseline

Till Next Time.

Boot Camp Clik x Outlawz

So if you ain't heard, 2Pac decided to invite members of the Boot Camp Clik over to his crib to record an album called One Nation. The point of the album was to dead the so-called "East Coast/West Coast" beef. But with Pac passing (RIP), the album was never officially finished and has been shelved since. What I got for you is the first official 11 tracks off the album. The album is a definite must-listen for any hip hop, 2Pac, or BCC fan. There's a few cuts that are pretty dope.

Boot Camp Clik & Outlawz - One Nation

Your Welcome

Al Green + AZ =

AZ - Memphis Sessions (The Remixtape)

My boy Sosa at it again with a remix to his latest album The Format. Beats are inspired by old Al Green tracks which you know will be a great listen.

9th Wonder + Nas =

9th Wonder - God's Stepson

One of my favorite producers in hip hop today. 9th Wonder does an awesome job of remixing this album, which helped get him recognized as an elite producer. If you haven't already, it's time for you to recognize.

Bonus Cut:

9th Wonder - The Cross (Instrumental)

BTW: In case you're wondering why it's edited. The acapellas to God's Son were released as an edited version. No explicit version was released.

Tha Eastsidaz - Snoop Dogg Presents....Tha Eastsidaz

...Don't Raise It Up!

Tha Eastsidaz - Snoop Dogg Presents....Tha Eastsidaz

Part 1

Part 2

Great West Coast album. One track requires a passwerd. That werd is:

DMX Going Gospel?

This year DMX is planning on coming out with 2 separate albums on the same day with the same title, Walk With Me Now and You'll Fly With Me Later. What's interesting is that one of the albums is going to be a Gospel record. Interesting move on X's part.
"I [was] the first nigga to put out two albums in one year [It's Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood in 1998], now I'm gonna hit 'em again — drop two albums on the same fuckin' day, yo," X said to MTV. "A double album will make muthafuckas mad, because they gotta spend more money — plus it's already a long [double] album. I'm talking about a hip-hop album and a gospel album."

"The same title is gonna be on both albums, but on one album one part [of the title] is gonna be [highlighted]," he explains. "(On) the other album, the other name is gonna be [highlighted]."
Let's see how this move pays off for him.

A Few Cuts For You

Here's a few tracks I got today that are in heavy rotation right now.

Smif-N-Wessun - Gotta Say It

Fuck Khaled

This doode here is my CuzN's DJ. When he showed me this mix I was buggin' out on how tight this schitt is. One of the best DJ's in the game. You too will agree after hearing this. Recognize.

DJ Goldenchyld - Live In San Diego

And Now A "What The Fuck?!?" Moment

I've heard this story last week and couldn't believe it until I saw a video. First I would have loved to have seen who put them joints on the CD. Second I would have loved to have seen how they got on the CD. Third I would have loved to have seen the look of disbelief and outrage from the parents. Schitt if they have someone like Big L, or some Method Man, or Dr. Dre on the next Disney mix, best believe I might think about copping.

"It was like Gangsta Rap".
