I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas. As you can see the site hasn't been updated for a minute but I'm sure you understand why, so on with the show. I come back hooking it up Shaolin style! Wu-Tang Clan - Iron Flag
This is the only joint I remember from Coo Coo Cal and while it's a classic, the video makes me appreciate it even more. Dude is reppin' his Milwaukee hood to the fullest! This is definitely one of my favorite videos.
Philly's Most Wanted was fuckin' with the Neptunes and still never blew up. But I remember these two videos like it was yesterday watching them on Rap City with Big Tigger. Ah...those were the good ol' days.
In the end we ask ourselves? What the hell happened to these cats? What they up to now? We may not know but we can at least enjoy what they came out with. Even if it wasn't much.
I for real thought I was going to be done with Jordans for the' 09 but now I'm not so sure. Both pairs of these I's are releasing in the next 2 months. My pockets are going to look real slim next year.
Overall the XX3 was a great looking sneaker and this upcoming colorway is EASILY the best one. Word is that only 23 sneaker stops will carry 23 pairs each releasing the 23rd for $230. Good luck trying to get your hands on these.
How else can you describe them? Unfortunately I won't be getting these because I've already committed to coppin' these. But it is pretty difficult letting these pass me by. Oh well, there is always Flight Club.
The video to this joint has been out for a little over a year and yet I have never seen it until I decided to Google it. This is a quality track that should have gotten the shine it rightfully deserves. Yet what was burning up around the same time this joint came out?
"Yoooooooouuuuuu!!!!!"
Saigon's case is truly a damn shame. A man with some true talent with the potential to bring the NY back to the top where Biggie left it more than 10 years ago. Dude was teamed up with Just Blaze to produce his debut album The Greatest Story Never Told and was completed early this year. But Atlantic Records decided not to release the album for reasons that leave me dumbfounded and quite frankly pretty angry. What's sad is that Saigon ain't an isolated case. Look at Q-Tip or Ras Kass who have had TWO albums shelved. If I were an up and coming artist I wouldn't even bother trying to get a record deal. Keep it independent and make your money doing live shows. Don't let these CEO's make a dime off what you do. Fuck the record industry!
Eminem - Number One (Prod. By Dr. Dre) [UNFINISHED]
I've seen a lot of hate on this song and I can't understand why. This schitt is SUPREMELY gangsta and I can't wait to hear the final product. I'm fuckin' hyped!
I'm sure the track has been out for a little bit but I just came up on it today and damn...this schitt is fresh. 9th Wonder did the damn thang on this schitt. Check it out!
Since one of my favorite shows on TV is plotting it's 3rd season, the creators have found a way to entertain us during the off season via Youtube, in a series titled Boondocks Bootlegs. The schitt has little one to two minute episodes featuring the voices of Uncle Ruckus, Granddad Freeman, and Thugnificent. Check the following vids and be sure to see more on the site!
So If You Havent Heard "808's & Heartbreak" Yet Your Slipping... :Cop It Here:
